Tour De Meers
The Meers Chamber of
Commerce is proud to present the Tour De Meers bicycle ride to benefit the Meers Volunteer
The tour comes at a time when the Wichita Mountains are at their most magnificent. There are challenging hills and straight paths for a fun-filled ride. Along the way there will be buffalo, deer, elk, Texas longhorn, beautiful mountains, lakes and trees to see and photograph. This will be a quality ride with rest stops and our full support along the way.
The tour comes at a time when the Wichita Mountains are at their most magnificent. The tour travels through historic Comanche and Kiowa Indian country over land and trails earlier established by Indians, Spaniards, outlaws, and later by calvary, buffalo soldiers from nearby historic Fort Sill, and goldminers.
The Tour will start and finish in Meers.
